St Mary’s Services from Sunday 10 January
Following the Government’s decision to impose a new National lockdown, the Government guidance and Church of England’s response means that local churches can make their own decisions on whether to remain open for communal worship, prayer and other activities. To stay open for communal worship, given the new, more transmissible form of the virus, we have had to consider whether it is safe and/or possible to do so.
It is the opinion of Revd Capt Clive Deverell and St Mary’s Churchwardens that safety cannot be guaranteed, and St Mary’s will be closed for public worship.
