Our thoughts and prayers are with King Charles III and the Royal Family on this sad occasion.

With the death of the Queen, the plans for this Heritage Weekend will change; although the polyptych will be open, the main focus will be on  a Book of Condolence in St Mary’s for people to sign, and for people to light a candle in remembrance of Her Majesty.

Bells will be rung halfmuffled, over the weekend.

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
